Emergency Planning Manager
Location - Mumbai
Jet Airways requires an EPM that takes initiative to manage and develop all facets of Jet Airways emergency response program, ensuring compliance with all national and international laws and regulations, and Corporate goals/objectives.
The EPM is expected to oversee and coordinate all aspects of the Company’s family assistance response (CARE Team) and to ensure logistics support of the GoTeam. In addition to acting as corporate liason with DGCA regarding emergency operations, the EPM will have to Manage cross-departmental teams and act as liaison between departments to ensure Jet Airways emergency response preparedness and compliance.
Manager Documentation Quality
Location - Mumbai
To produce technical documentation within Flight Operations to the highest quality standards, in order to provide user-friendly and effective documentation to Flight and Cabin Crew.
Ensure the timely implementation, integration and usage of systems, document structures and procedures to provide technical support to Flight Operations. Maintain reliability standards for existing manuals and development of specifications for document structures for new documents.
Job Outline:
• To produce technical documentation i.e. COM (Company Operations Manual), MEL/CDL (aircraft type), Cabin and Safety Manual, Route and Aerodrome Instructions and Information, and Training (aircraft type) in both digital and paper format as per regulatory requirements within the Flight Operations department to the highest quality standards in order to provide user friendly and effective documentation to the Flight Crew.
• To standardize all the operations manuals and operating procedures within the Flight Operations Publication.
• Timely amendment of the Manuals once revisions from the manufacturer or regulatory bodies are received, including liaison with the Job holders and Documentation and Library Manager in order to identify priorities.
• Promote Operations Documentation on the internet/intranet, Flight Operations Portal, Computer Based Training, crew CDs, central repository, on board Laptop and share point ensuring consistency with the master copy and currency of data.
• Liaise with Performance Engineering and Technical Engineering Departments for modification plans, to be updated in the manuals.
• Liaise with Performance Engineering section for update in airfield NAV Aids, NOTAMS, New route(s) or existing route(s), new destination, required alternates for the operations, to be updated in the manuals.
• To act as the communicator of Flight Operations between different department of the Company for exchanging the procedures/policies affecting the various publication of the Company.
Experience and Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years experience in documentation management, technical writing, or have worked in a technical publications environment.
• Advanced skills in the use of Desktop Publishing software and building structured documents.
• Knowledge of XML, SGML, SGML+FrameMaker, HTML and Acrobat is essential.
• Ability to understand the technical contents and good attention to detail.
• Should be familiar with Indian DGCA CARs affecting the Flight Operations.
• Should be familiar with manufacture software.
